Some of the Microsoft Office 365 plans come with Microsoft Office 2013 Professional software to install on your workstations. The trouble I ran into is that to install the software, it needs to be streamed down from the user's portal login. At the time we were deploying, I was also building a new computer image. Here are the steps I used to install the Office software on my image for distribution to many computers without the need for the streaming download.

4 Steps total
Step 1: Download Software
Once my image was ready, I logged onto my Office 365 account and downloaded/streamed the software to my PC image. This used up one of my 5 licenses available. Continue this process until the software is fully installed on the PC
Step 2: Configure Software to Liking

The Office software was now activated under my ID and I went through all my configurations of the software to set the perferences the way I wanted the computers to be set.

Step 3: Remove License and Continue with Image Build and Prep
Once your configurations are complete, log back into your Office 365 account and remove the license associated with your image computer. Now continue with your image build as you typically do, including sysprep.
Step 4: All Done!
Once you apply your image to a computer for the first time Office will be installed. Upon the first launch of office it will warn that it is not activated and to either login to activate with a licensed Office 365 account or to enter a license key. At this time you may enter your user's email and password for Office 365 to activate the software for their PC.

Didn't seem to work for me. It said the product was not activated so I used the users login to activate and it said that this product was not associated to the account and it made me login to the Office 365 account of the user and restream the installation. They should just provide a standard installer like they do for the Mac version through the Office 365 licensing.

TexRob is right - why don't Microsoft promote this way of doing things rather than having to waste time running deployment tools with XML files?!

Has anyone tried this route. It seems pretty straight forward to me. I am in a trial status for Office 365 Pro Plus for Education trying to determine if I want the headache. I'm going to try this as I am in the midst of creating a new image anyways.

@Chris5364 - I downloaded the Office Deployment Tool.
For purposes of this demo I used a thumbdrive (E:) for the deployment tool and the local hard drive to capture the install files. Since I am only creating a single laptop image there was no point in downloading to a network share or joining my domain for access to the network shares, followed KISS.
1- Download the Office Deployment Tool package and extract it to a thumbdrive
2- Ensure there is a c:temp directory or create one
3- Create a subdirectory c:tempoffice
4- Edit the configuration file that comes with the package (e:configuration.xml) to take the comment tags out of the Add SourcePath lines (I removed the section for Visio since it was not necessary for our images).
5- Also remove the comment tags from the EULA acceptance.
6- Then run the Office Deployment Tool with the following syntax:
e:setup.exe /download e:configuration.xml
7- Once the download is complete run the Office Deployment Tool with the following syntax:
e:setup.exe /configure e:configuration.xml
8- It will install in the background. I'm late to the party. After step 4, the user who re-registered with their email isn't showing a license being used in Office365. Does it show for you?

@jmarkley710 how did you track the install in the background (step 7)? I could not find any related process and the command finishes in < 2 mins with no Office installed. Step 6 worked ok.
I can confirm that @Lauren7060's solution still works, used for O365 Business license.
